The New York Stem Cell Foundation is a research institute and philanthropic organization that conducts and supports stem cell research focused on developing treatments and cures for major diseases. Since its establishment in 2005, NYSCF has invested over $450 million in stem cell science and collaborates with more than 100 institutions worldwide to accelerate biomedical discovery. The organization operates an independent research facility in New York City while also partnering with major medical research centers and academic institutions globally. In October 2025, NYSCF was acquired by The Jackson Laboratory, which is integrating stem cell science with genetics research and artificial intelligence to advance discovery.

NYSCF's research institute serves as a bridge between academic research institutions and pharmaceutical and biotech companies by reducing the cost, time, and risk involved in developing new treatments. The organization employs a stem cell automation platform that incorporates advanced technologies including artificial intelligence and robotics to accelerate the research process. The foundation focuses on diseases including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, age-related macular degeneration, diabetes, autism spectrum disorder, psychiatric disease, women's reproductive cancers, and rare diseases.
