Dr. Rudolph Eberwein, MD, also known as Dr. Rudy, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 25 years of experience specializing in hormone optimization, age management, and preventive medicine.
Born in Haiti and moving to the United States in 1991, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from the University of Florida before obtaining his MD from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2001, after which he worked as a hospitalist in South Florida hospitals, managing acute care in ICUs, ERs, and general wards.
Transitioning from acute care to preventive and functional medicine, Dr. Eberwein co-founded A New You Wellness, a weight loss clinic, where he pioneered integrative approaches to obesity, metabolic health, and insulin resistance using GLP-1 medications and advanced diagnostics. He obtained board certification in age management medicine from the Age Management Medicine Group in 2015 and now serves as Medical Director and owner of Medical Health Institute in Miami, focusing on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), testosterone treatments, IV therapy, erectile dysfunction, peptide therapy, and sexual wellness for patients aged 28 and older.
Fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, he emphasizes personalized, evidence-based treatments drawn from his own experiences and extensive patient outcomes.
