Andy Smith is the Founder and CEO of CELLER8, a company specializing in innovative Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy devices designed for personal wellness. His journey into the PEMF industry began with a personal health crisis during a business trip to Australia, where severe stomach pains led to emergency surgery and a persistent infection. After discovering the benefits of PEMF therapy, which helped manage his condition when conventional medicine fell short, Andy dedicated himself to making this technology more accessible and user-friendly.

Prior to launching CELLER8, he founded NewMed Ltd in 2014, where he spent nearly a decade selling PEMF devices, gaining deep industry knowledge and identifying gaps in existing products that were often clinical or overly complicated. Driven by a mission to simplify PEMF and integrate it seamlessly into everyday life, Andy co-founded CELLER8 with his wife, Jade Emmerton-Smith, creating beautifully designed mats and portable units that prioritize transparency, ease of use, and aesthetic appeal. Under his leadership, the family-run business launched at Medica, emphasizing education through initiatives like The PEMF Podcast, where he interviews global experts on wellbeing, performance, and longevity.
