World Martial Arts Academy of Kearny teaches taekwondo to students ages four and up. The academy serves families looking to develop their children's confidence, discipline, and physical fitness through martial arts training. Classes are offered for different age groups, from little tigers through teens and adults, with instruction tailored to each level's goals and abilities.

The academy emphasizes personal connection, with instructors knowing every student and parent by name rather than treating students as numbers. They focus on the five core tenets of taekwondo—courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit—as a framework for building character alongside martial arts skills. The instruction is provided by a master instructor who holds a 4th Dan Black Belt certification from Kukkiwon and is a USAT certified coach for sparring and poomsae. The academy creates a fun, family-friendly environment where high expectations are balanced with enjoyable training experiences.
