About
The Child Center of NY is a community organization that has served children and families since 1953, operating more than 70 locations across New York City and Long Island. The organization reaches nearly 60,000 children and families annually, focusing on under-resourced communities throughout the region. Their mission is to strengthen children and families by providing skills, opportunities, and emotional support to help them build healthy, successful lives.
The organization takes a comprehensive approach that recognizes the resilience and knowledge within the communities they serve. They work to address generational poverty by providing critical services where they are needed most, including education, counseling, and support services. Mental health and addiction treatment services are available for all ages in multiple languages.
