North Bergen Mixed Martial Arts & Boxing is a martial arts academy in North Bergen, New Jersey that offers training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, karate, kickboxing, and boxing for both adults and children. The studio is led by Professor Julio Rodriguez, a 4th Degree Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with over 30 years of training experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as credentials as a Go Ju Karate Black Belt and Muay Thai instructor. The academy serves the North Bergen and surrounding communities with classes designed for all skill levels.
The studio approaches martial arts training as a lifestyle practice focused on developing both body and mind. The instructors view themselves as lifelong students of the martial arts committed to sharing their knowledge with students. The academy emphasizes building self-confidence through martial arts and self-defense training while helping students achieve physical fitness goals. They welcome all skill levels and invite prospective students to try a class before committing.
