Ilê da Capoeira is a traditional capoeira studio located in Newark's Ironbound neighborhood that serves people of all ages and abilities. Founded in 2013 by Mestre Cebolinha, the studio offers classes throughout the week and hosts cultural events and performances for the community. The studio aims to support and educate members of the communities it serves about Brazilian culture while promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

The studio's approach centers on making capoeira accessible to everyone willing to learn. Classes are structured to include warm-ups, drills, partner sequences, and practice time. Mestre Cebolinha, the head instructor and founder, brings over 25 years of personal capoeira experience and more than 20 years of teaching experience working with students of all levels, including those with special needs. The studio operates six days a week and welcomes new students with a free first class.
